Astonished Animals! A series

Background

I've always preferred doing animal and creature illustrations, and an idea came to mind of doing a set of alliterative designs for animals. I also really enjoy and am amused by wide-eyed shocked looks, and decided to go for an "astonished animals" concept.

Products

These were created into different types of products, from stickers, to pins, to keychains. I also designed the packaging behind them. I wanted the backing cards and other packaging to be clean and simple, so as to highlight the illustrations more.

Process

I started off with initial sketches on the iPad, and went on to do lineart and final design on Illustrator.

Since I knew they were being made as pins, there were some restrictions to the designs, such as line width, spacings, and the amount of detail.
